Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive Alerts:
· Develop and design multi-dimensional dashboards for thorough analytics.
· Audit and assess Integris best practices, alerts, and policies, and make recommendations for performance enhancement.
· Establish a baseline, and optimize health rules for alerting, policies, and actions.
· Design and implement self-healing mechanisms and create service alerts. - Observability:
· Deepen observability using App Dynamics focusing on F5 load balancers, WMI performance, custom extensions/scripts, MRUM, databases, and API monitoring.
· Draft Ansible Playbooks for App Dynamics agent management and installation.
· Develop a centralized logging strategy and best practices.
· Assist in documentation, especially with CMDB/CSDM. - Stabilization:
· Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for APM and machine Agent stability.
· Communicate RCA findings and seek alignment with stakeholders.
· Ensure stability via Agent monitoring and design an Agent Configuration template for Azure DevOps deployment. - Optimization:
· Create and refine health rules, alerts, and dashboards tailored for multiple apps.
· Provide knowledge transfer sessions on various topics including EUM configuration.
· Break apart specific applications inside App Dynamics and give solutions for metric limits and registration errors. - Innovation:
Spearheaded efforts in refining BTs and providing tools and strategies for monitoring as code.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with App Dynamics.
- Strong proficiency in automation scripting (BASH, Shell, Powershell), preferably with experience in Ansible.
- Experience with F5 load balancers, SCOM, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct RCAs.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing dashboards and alerts.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
